no response

I dropped off two job resumes to KFC in person,  and sent a resume to Orange Julius last Friday, but there is still no response.  Maybe I should not sending resume before the job search class begin.  As the employment counsellor said so, my resume is lacking of skills and it will hardly to win a job interview.
